じかん (jikan) - How to ask for time

A typical conversation asking for time goes like this ...

A: "すみません。いまなんじですか。"
(sumimasen, ima nan ji desu ka.)
Excuse me, what time is it now?

B: "いまさんじにじゅうはっぷんです。"
(ima sanji nijuuhappun desu.)
It is 3:28.

A: "ありがとうございます。"
(arigatoo gozaimasu)
Thank you very much.

B: "いいえ。"
(iie)
Not at all.
